Qatar's embargo and isolation, US and UK early stages in destabilizing the Middle East
Author : Hendrajit, Geopolitical Analyst and Executive Director of the Global Future Institute (GFI)

If we look at the Saudi-Kuwait-Bahrain-United Arab Emirates-Egypt movement in breaking diplomatic ties with Qatar, this is typical UK game. Despite its game is being played by the US.

Not surprisingly, US puppet countries such as Saudi Arabia that are members of the Gulf Cooperation Council, suddenly sacrificed one of the Gulf Cooperation Council members, namely Qatar.

However, 10,000 US troops following CENTCOM which is the center of US Air Force operations in the Middle East, remain entrenched in Qatar.

That means the real purpose of both UK and US is to create destabilizing actions in the Middle East. By increasingly sharpening a rift among Islamic countries. Saudi Arabia-Kuwait-Bahrain-United Arab Emirates-Egypt versus Iran-Qatar-Syria. On this stand, there has been a politically sheep fight aka Devide et Impera between Muslim countries in the Middle East.

Interestingly, looking at the role played by Turkey as a slice of the two fighting poles.

In building such conditions, UK is the champion. In addition, there is one more strange thing. The isolation and embargo movement against Qatar was waged only weeks after the Arab American Islamic Summit.

This reinforces my assumption that the summit is apparently on the agenda of discussing economic-political-defense reform in the Middle East.

Presumably, the embargo and isolation movement against Qatar is just an early episode. The mapping and maturation stage of the situation is impressed above the surface, the polarization between the two camps is between Arab states siding with US and Western bloc versus the ones  siding with Syria-Russia-China.

In fact, if we take into account it, Qatar is actually also part of the US puppet state which previously also incorporated in the Gulf Cooperation Council / GCC.

Issues rolled along with the congregation of isolating and embargoing Qatar are about the support of the oil-rich country to Muslim Brotherhood (ihwanul muslimin) and its support and Iran for siding with the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in fighting against US-led Jihadists.

But such reasons or excuses are only at the level of tactics to spread the issues. The real agenda is to create destabilizing actions in the Middle East. A precondition is needed to reform the region. Bumping two camps among the countries of the Middle East, and at the same time, the US, UK and the Western bloc have still taken control of the geopolitics of the Middle East.

Japanese Militarism : Japan, Between Love And Resentment

A book entitled Japanese Militarism and Its War Crimes in Asia Pacific Region (Hendrajit, ed) was recently sent to me, by the publisher, The Global Future Institute. No doubt, this book made me re-think and recollect my trip to Japan in 1996. At that time, I was warmly received by Japanese families who became my host, invited to travel to various places, and bought souvenirs. The psycological effect of my short visit is that it is hard to imagine that the Japanese people were cruel ones, perpetrators of the massacre of our ancestors, raping Indonesian girls, making them as prostitutes and enslaving our grandfathers to work on various projects.
